In PLAN's first year (2013-2014), we supported student leaders on 9 college campuses to establish or expand move-out programs. These were the first models of student-led, financially self-sustaining move-out infrastructure. They included the Rechargers program at Colby Sawyer College, the FreeNew program at SUNY Purchase, the New2U program at UMass Amherst, the Think Outside the Dumpster program at The University of New Haven, the Dorm Mania program at The College of William & Mary, and the Trash 2 Treasure programs at The University of New Hampshire, Northeastern University, Tulane University, and Eckerd College.

When campuses closed due to COVID in 2020, most of these programs shut down as well. Since then, 8 of the 9 programs have bounced back, celebrating their 10th annual collection and resale initiatives over the last few months! Join us to celebrate 10 years of success from PLAN's first programs! We're excited to showcase the growth of these move-out programs, and are so proud of our student leaders & inspired by their accomplishments. Congratulations to everyone who made these programs possible over the years!

Over the last 11 years, PLAN has supported over 200 campus move out programs. If you would like support with starting or expanding a move out program, please reach out to us at info@postlandfill.org or register for our recurring Move-Out Workshop Series! The first session is November 12th from 4-5pm EST.
